Sweet Pea Farm is committed to growing healthy food and flowers for the local community using practices that are healthy for our planet. Farmer Kathan Teepe subscribes to the philosophy that the soil is the most important resource on the farm. Healthy soil translates to healthy crops, which in turn translates to fewer pest and disease issues. She uses soil amendments, cover crops, crop rotations and other cultural practices to continually build upon the farm's most important resource.
